Comprehensive coverage can be a lifesaver, but honestly, it's not always the best move for older cars. Sure, hailstorms are brutal (been there myself—my old Civic looked like Swiss cheese afterward), but sometimes the math just doesn't add up. Instead of crossing fingers each season, maybe stash away what you'd pay in premiums into an emergency fund? That way, you're covered either way and not just hoping Mother Nature plays nice next year...
