Yeah, phones are great until they're suddenly not... learned that the hard way myself. Honestly, I keep printed copies of everything—insurance, registration, roadside assistance numbers—because tech always seems to glitch exactly when you need it most. Better safe than stranded, right?

That's a smart approach, but honestly, I've never had tech fail me badly enough to go fully paper again. Maybe I've been lucky? Curious though—does SD actually require physical insurance cards, or are digital copies officially accepted now?

Yeah, digital copies are officially accepted in SD now, but honestly, I'd still keep a physical backup handy. Tech's great until it isn't—like that one time my phone randomly died during a traffic stop (talk about bad timing...). Having a paper copy tucked away in the glovebox just feels safer. Might seem overly cautious, but better safe than sorry when you're dealing with insurance and potential fines.

Yeah, learned that lesson the hard way myself. Once had my phone slip right between the seats during a stop—couldn't reach it without looking sketchy, so had to awkwardly explain. Paper copy's just simpler sometimes. Tech's convenient until it decides not to be...

Haha, exactly. Had my phone die right when the officer walked up once—talk about timing. Paper copy might feel old-school, but at least it doesn't randomly shut off on you mid-conversation...
