Dropped my car off last Monday for what was supposed to be a "quick fix," and here I am, almost two weeks later, still waiting. Every time I call, it's always "just another day or two," but somehow those days keep multiplying. It's like mechanics operate on some mysterious alternate calendar or something, you know?
I get that things happen—parts delayed, unexpected problems—but man, a heads-up would be nice. It's the constant guessing game that's driving me nuts. Had to bum rides from friends and family all week, and I'm pretty sure they're tired of me by now, lol.
Is this just my luck, or is anyone else out there stuck in mechanic limbo way longer than they were promised?
