Been thinking about switching my insurance lately, and I've narrowed things down to Progressive. But now I'm kinda stuck deciding between basic liability coverage and full coverage. My car isn't exactly new, it's a 2014 Honda Accord, decent shape but nothing fancy. I drive pretty carefully, haven't had any serious accidents (knock on wood lol), and my daily commute isn't too crazy either.

Thing is, the price difference between basic and full coverage is noticeable enough that I'm questioning if it's really worth it. Like, if something actually happens, would I regret not having full coverage? Or am I just paranoid and wasting cash every month on something I might never need?

I talked to a friend who swears by full coverage, says you never know when someone's gonna back into you at Target or something. But my brother says it's just insurance companies scaring you into spending more money. He's been driving with basic liability for years and says he's saved a ton.

Honestly, I don't wanna be cheap and regret it later, but money's tight enough that I'm second-guessing spending extra. Curious what other people think—is full coverage worth it or nah?
