So last weekend, my buddy's car broke down and he asked if he could borrow mine for a couple days. I trust him, so I said sure, no biggie. But then I started thinking about insurance stuff, you know? Like, what happens if he gets into an accident or something? I called up my insurance company just to double-check, and they said something about permissive use coverage being standard in Pennsylvania, meaning my friend would be covered under my policy as long as he had my permission.

It sounded pretty straightforward, but honestly, insurance always makes me a little nervous. I mean, has anyone actually had to deal with this in real life? Did it go smoothly or did you run into any weird issues? I'm just curious if it's really as simple as they make it sound, or if there's some hidden catch I should know about before lending out my wheels again.
