I get where you’re coming from, but I learned the hard way that just having a paper copy in the glove box isn’t always enough. Got pulled over once and the paper was faded so bad the cop couldn’t read it. Since then, I do three things: keep a fresh printout in the car, snap a pic on my phone, and yeah, I email myself a copy. Takes two minutes and covers me if my phone dies or gets lost. Not saying it’s foolproof, but it’s saved me some headaches.

Honestly, you’re spot on—just relying on a single paper copy is risky. I’ve seen people get tripped up by old info or even water damage after a spilled coffee. Your backup system’s solid, but I’d add this: some states (including OK) let officers check insurance electronically during a stop. Doesn’t hurt to double-check your policy is showing up in their system too. Tech glitches happen, but it’s one more layer of protection.
