Was chatting with my cousin yesterday, and he mentioned something kinda wild—apparently Mississippi has one of the highest rates of uninsured drivers in the country. Like, almost 30% or something? Had no idea it was that high. Makes me rethink my own insurance choices, you know, just in case someone without coverage hits me. Wonder if other states are similar or if it's just a Mississippi thing...

Yeah, I've heard similar numbers for other states too, though Mississippi does seem particularly high. Honestly, that's why I've always opted for uninsured motorist coverage—it's a bit pricier, but worth it for peace of mind. Makes me wonder, though...are these high rates mostly due to economic reasons, or is enforcement just lax down there?
