Had a bit of a scare last night driving home from Detroit. Tire blew out on me around midnight, middle of nowhere, pitch dark... you know the drill. Luckily had enough battery to google some roadside help, but man, it took forever to get someone out there. Wondering if anyone else has had better luck with certain companies or services around Michigan? Would love to hear your experiences, good or bad.

Had a similar thing happen near Lansing last winter—freezing cold, middle of nowhere, not fun. I've found AAA pretty reliable around Michigan, decent response times and friendly folks. Curious if anyone's tried local towing companies directly...maybe quicker than big names?
