Had a flat tire last night on 495, pitch dark and freezing cold, you know the drill. Usually I dread calling for help cuz I've had some pretty meh experiences before—long waits, grumpy drivers, surprise charges, etc. But this time, tried a new roadside assistance service my coworker mentioned and wow, total game changer. Quick response, super friendly guy, and no hidden fees or nonsense. Kinda restored my faith in humanity, lol. Curious if anyone else had a similar positive experience around here lately?

Had a similar moment last summer—my old Mustang decided to quit on me near Worcester at midnight (typical). Called a random roadside service expecting the worst, but the guy showed up quick, cracked jokes, and even admired my ride. Nice when things actually go smoothly for once...

That's refreshing to hear—it's rare to find someone who genuinely appreciates a classic car these days, especially during a midnight roadside call. I've had mixed experiences myself; some roadside techs seem more comfortable plugging into a laptop than handling a carburetor. Reminds me of the time my '69 Camaro stalled out near Springfield. The guy who showed up was friendly enough but clearly baffled by the lack of diagnostic ports and digital readouts. We ended up chatting about old-school ignition systems for half an hour before finally getting it running again.

Out of curiosity, did your Mustang have ignition trouble too, or was it something else entirely? Seems like older Mustangs often have quirks around the electrical system or fuel pumps...
