Last month I rented a car down in Baton Rouge and the guy at the counter tried to upsell me on their insurance. You know how it goes, right? Anyway, turns out my regular auto policy already covered rentals in-state, so I skipped it and saved myself some cash. Just a heads-up to double-check your own policy before you rentβcould save you from paying twice for coverage you already have.
