Just renewed my car insurance and realized I've been rolling with the bare minimum required by Kansas law for years now. Got me wondering if most folks stick to the basics or prefer extra coverage for peace of mind. Quick poll:

- Bare minimum, cheaper the better
- A bit extra, just in case
- Full coverage all the way, can't be too careful

I go with a bit extra, personally. Had a close call once where minimum wouldn't have covered it... lesson learned. Peace of mind's worth a few extra bucks each month, imo.

Yeah, same here. Ever think about how quickly medical bills or repairs can spiral out of control? I bumped up my liability coverage after a friend got into a nasty accidentβ€”minimum barely scratched the surface of his expenses. Do you guys also carry uninsured motorist coverage? Seems like a no-brainer to me, but curious if others think it's worth the extra cost.

I just bought my first policy a couple months ago and honestly, figuring out coverage levels was pretty overwhelming. Ended up going above minimum after hearing horror stories from coworkers about accidents and hospital bills piling up. I did add uninsured motorist coverage tooβ€”felt like a small price to pay for peace of mind. Hopefully never have to use it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry...
