Yeah, those tracking apps can be a real pain—makes you feel like you’re being graded for just driving normally. I’ve tried the cut-rate insurers too and honestly, the stress of not getting a straight answer isn’t worth the few bucks saved. Sometimes paying more upfront really does save you headaches down the line.

- Totally get what you mean about the tracking apps—feels like you’re being watched for every tiny move.
- I’ve been tempted by those cheaper insurers too, but the lack of transparency just isn’t worth it.
- Paying a bit more for peace of mind and straightforward service? That’s been my approach lately, especially after a friend got stuck in a claims nightmare with a bargain policy.
- Sometimes the “deal” just isn’t worth the risk, especially when you’re out on the road a lot like I am.
- Hang in there… finding the right balance is tough, but you’re not alone in thinking it’s worth spending a little extra for less hassle.
