Totally get your hesitation about the driving tracker thing—I had the same reaction. Makes me wonder, though, where exactly do we draw the line? Like, if lenders start poking around our social media, what's next...checking out our Netflix history to see if we're binge-watching too much instead of working overtime? Feels like privacy boundaries keep shifting, and it's hard to know when to push back. Anyway, good on you for trusting your gut and passing on that tracker deal.
I get the concern, but honestly, lenders have always been nosy—just in different ways. Remember when they'd call your employer to verify income? I'd rather deal with a tracker than have my boss grilled about my finances...just saying.
