I get where you’re coming from on the paperwork, but honestly, I’d put a bigger emphasis on having a backup charger for your phone. Insurance cards and roadside assistance are great—if you can actually call for help. I learned that the hard way last winter when my phone died and I was stuck waiting for someone to drive by. Also, about the spare tire—sometimes people forget to check if they even have the right tools to change it. The little things add up fast when you’re stranded.

Yeah, I hear you on that. People always talk about paperwork and coverage, but none of it matters if your phone’s dead in the middle of nowhere. Backup charger’s a lifesaver, no joke. And about the spare—I've seen folks with a flat and no jack or the wrong lug wrench. It’s the little stuff that bites you when you least expect it. Good reminder to double-check the basics before heading out.

Honestly, I think people underestimate how easy it is to overlook the basics. I’ve had a flat before and realized my spare was almost as bald as the tire that blew. Ended up waiting hours for someone to pass by. Now I keep a checklist in my glovebox—charger, tools, water, even a reflective vest. Might sound overkill, but it beats being stuck on the shoulder hoping for good luck.
