Yeah, the coverage details can be sneaky. I remember thinking I’d found a deal for my kid, but then realized the deductible was sky-high and liability was basically the legal minimum—yikes. One thing I learned: some companies will give you a “good student” discount or even a break if your teen takes a safe driving course. Not huge, but every bit helps when those numbers are climbing. Comparing both options side by side really does make a difference, even if it’s kind of a headache.
