Had something similar happen last winter—thought it was nothing until I noticed my parking sensors acting weird. Turns out the wiring got slightly pinched behind the bumper. Definitely worth getting checked out, even if it looks minor... sensors and electronics are pretty sensitive these days.

Yeah, definitely agree on the sensor thing. A buddy of mine tapped a parked car—barely noticeable—but later his backup camera started glitching randomly. Turned out the impact shifted something inside. Better safe than sorry with these newer cars... repairs add up fast.

True, but honestly, aren't we getting a bit paranoid about sensors? I've bumped cars lightly before—no issues. Could've just been bad luck with your friend's camera glitching.

I see your point, but sensors can be surprisingly sensitive. Last month, I barely tapped a parked car—no visible marks—but the owner later mentioned their parking sensor started acting erratically. Could've been coincidence, sure... but modern tech is finicky sometimes.

Yeah, you're spot on about sensors being touchy. I've seen plenty of cases where even a minor bump—no visible damage at all—still messes with the electronics. Modern cars are basically computers on wheels, and those sensors can be overly sensitive to even slight impacts. Still, from an insurance standpoint, it's usually better safe than sorry. Reporting it might seem like a hassle, especially when there's no obvious damage, but it can save headaches down the line if the other party claims sensor issues later. I've handled claims where something tiny escalated into a bigger deal because it wasn't documented early. Just food for thought... but don't stress too much about it; these things happen more often than you'd think.
