bumped someone's car lightly, no visible damage—should I report?

Yeah, with all the tech crammed into bumpers nowadays, it's nuts how sensitive things are. Had a neighbor tap my car last summer—no scratches, nothing—but next day my parking sensors started beeping randomly. Thought my car was haunted for a minute, lol. Better safe than sorry, insurance-wise... modern cars have expensive tastes even with tiny bumps.

Haha, been there. My wife barely nudged a pole backing out once—no visible damage—but suddenly the backup camera started glitching like a bad horror flick. Modern bumpers are drama queens...

Haha, modern tech can be overly sensitive like that... Even a tiny bump can mess with sensors or wiring connections behind the bumper. Usually sorts itself out, but if it keeps glitching, might wanna have someone check the wiring harness just to be safe.

Honestly, I get the point about sensitive tech, but I'm not totally sold on it "usually sorting itself out."
- Even tiny bumps can trigger hidden damage that isn't obvious right away.
- Sensors might recalibrate temporarily, but wiring issues usually don't just vanish.
- Had a friend ignore something similar once—seemed fine at first, but later had weird electrical glitches popping up randomly. Ended up costing more to fix down the line.
Not saying panic, but better safe than sorry with modern cars...

Reminds me of the time I lightly tapped a buddy's newer Audi—no marks, nothing obvious. We shrugged it off until weeks later his parking sensors randomly beeped at empty spaces...modern electronics can be finicky. Did you exchange info with the other driver just in case?
