I've been dealing with this ongoing claim dispute for what feels like forever, and I'm at the point where I gotta choose between mediation or arbitration. Mediation seems more chill and flexible, but arbitration might actually get things moving quicker, you know? Anyone here been through either of these? Curious which one worked better for you and why...

I went through mediation a couple years back when my car got rear-ended and the insurance companies couldn't agree on who was paying what. Honestly, mediation was pretty laid-back and gave me room to explain things in my own words without feeling rushed or pressured. But yeah, it did drag on a bit longer than I'd hoped.

From what I've heard, arbitration can definitely speed things up, but it's also more formal and binding, so less wiggle room if you're not happy with the outcome. Guess it depends how much patience you've got left...
