Yeah, snacks are a lifesaver for sureβ€”learned that the hard way myself. But honestly, isn't it kinda part of the fun? Like, if nothing goes wrong, did you even take a vintage car trip...? Curious though, what's your must-have tool you'd never leave home without?

Haha, true... part of the charm is definitely the unpredictability. For me, it's gotta be duct tapeβ€”saved my butt more times than I'd like to admit. Ever had a roadside fix that turned into a permanent solution?

Haha, duct tape definitely has its moments, but for me it's zip tiesβ€”once rigged up a loose radiator hose with a couple of those and ended up leaving it like that for months. Vintage cars really teach you creativity under pressure...

Zip ties are lifesavers, no doubt. Had a throttle cable snap onceβ€”ended up rigging it with a shoelace and drove home like that. Vintage cars definitely force you to think on your feet... part of the charm, right?

Zip ties and shoelaces sound creative, but honestly, I'd feel uneasy driving long distances with a fix like that. Vintage charm is great and all, but isn't there a fine line between charming quirks and just plain risky? Curious if anyone packs specific spare parts or tools to avoid improvising on the roadside. I mean, ingenuity's cool, but maybe preparedness is better... thoughts?
