I drive a lot for work and sometimes for fun, so my bill was all over the place—no real savings in the end.
That’s exactly what worries me about mileage caps. I never know when I’ll have to make an extra trip or take a longer route, and then I’m stressing about going over. Has anyone ever actually gotten dinged for going past the cap? Or do they just up your premium next year? I’ve heard some companies are stricter than others, but I’m not sure how much they really check.
