Two weeks does feel pretty quick, but insurance companies can sometimes move unpredictably fast if something triggers their internal checks. Had a minor fender-bender myself a few years backβ€”nothing major, but the insurer flagged it for review. I was pretty anxious at first, but after providing some extra documentation, everything cleared up without issue. It's stressful, sure, but staying calm and cooperating fully usually helps things resolve smoothly. Hang tight... it'll likely sort itself out soon enough.

Had something similar happen last yearβ€”got flagged out of nowhere. Turned out they just needed a couple extra pics and a quick chat. Felt like forever at the time, but it blew over pretty quick. Hang in there... insurance can be weird sometimes.

"insurance can be weird sometimes."

I get what you're saying, but honestly, shouldn't insurance companies have clearer procedures for these things? As someone new to this whole insurance thing, it feels unsettling that they can just flag you out of nowhere. I mean, sure, a quick chat and some extra photos might clear things up, but isn't transparency supposed to be part of their job? Maybe I'm overthinking it... but it seems like more clarity upfront could save everyone a lot of stress.

Insurance companies definitely have their own special brand of weirdness, haha. I remember once getting flagged because I took a road trip through like five states in two daysβ€”apparently that looked suspicious? Took forever to convince them I was just overly ambitious with my sightseeing. You're totally right though, clearer guidelines upfront would save everyone from these mini heart attacks. Hang in there, it'll probably sort itself out quicker than you think...
