Haha, that's exactly why I'm hesitant about those apps. My daily commute is full of potholes and rough patches—pretty sure I'd get flagged constantly. Did you notice if it affected your rates much, or did you bail before it got to that point? Seems like a good concept, but I'm with you... better to wait until they smooth things out a bit.
