Totally get the camera roll thing—mine’s just car dents and gas receipts at this point. Got sideswiped by a shopping cart once, and the insurance lady acted like I’d staged a heist. I swear, in Arkansas, you need a weather diary and a dashcam just to survive.

Man, I hear you on the dashcam—mine’s saved my butt more than once. Between hailstorms and random stuff flying off trucks, it’s like Arkansas roads are out to get us. I’ve had three claims in two years and now my rates are through the roof. Insurance folks act like I’m running a demolition derby, but honestly, half the time it’s just bad luck or someone else not paying attention.

I will say, though, sometimes they’re not totally wrong to be suspicious. My cousin tried to claim hail damage that was actually from a baseball... didn’t end well for him. Still, most of us are just trying to keep our cars in one piece. If you don’t have comprehensive coverage here, you’re basically gambling every time you park outside during tornado season. And yeah, keep those receipts—sometimes it feels like you need a whole scrapbook just to prove what happened.

Honestly, reading this makes me feel a little better about being so paranoid over getting full coverage. I haven’t even had my policy for six months and I’m already worrying about what’ll happen if a tree branch decides to take out my windshield. The whole “keep your receipts” thing is wild to me—I’d never thought about needing proof for stuff like that. It’s frustrating how insurance companies can treat you like you’re gaming the system, even when it’s just bad luck. Guess I’ll be investing in a dashcam sooner rather than later...

That one gets a lot of people. I’ve seen folks dig through glove boxes for months-old receipts just to get a claim sorted. Honestly, dashcams are underrated—sometimes video is the only thing that clears up weird situations. You’re not alone in feeling paranoid, trust me.

Yeah, it’s wild how much paperwork can pile up just from regular car stuff. I used to toss all my receipts until I got burned once—insurance wanted proof for a repair and I had nothing. Now I just shove everything in an envelope in the glove box. It’s not perfect, but it’s saved me some headaches. Dashcams are a game changer too, like you said… sometimes that footage is the only thing that makes sense of a mess. It’s not really paranoia if you’ve seen what can go wrong, right?
