Turns out, Alabama is an "at-fault" state, meaning whoever caused the accident has to pay for damages. I always thought every state was the same, but nope—some places have "no-fault" insurance, where your own insurance covers you no matter who caused it. Anyway, here's a little tip I learned from my cousin (who works at an insurance office, so he knows stuff, lol): always keep a disposable camera or make sure your phone is charged to snap quick pics right after an accident. It helps a ton when you're dealing with claims, especially in an at-fault state like ours. He said you'd be surprised how often people change their stories later on. I'm curious if anyone else has some handy tips or lifehacks for dealing with car insurance claims or accidents here in Alabama. I'm all ears, cause honestly, insurance stuff makes my head spin sometimes.

Haha, wish I could say the same. My dashcam's front and center, but people still drive like maniacs around me. Maybe it's my driving style... or my luck. Either way, insurance loves me.
