Just saw a local news bit about folks in Wyoming having a tough time getting their insurance claims sorted after that recent hailstorm. Seems like companies dragging their feet big time, um, anyone here dealing with this?

Dealt with something similar last year after a windstorm - claims backlog was huge. Couple quick tips:
- Document everything (photos, emails, calls).
- Keep following up regularly.
- Be cautious about quick settlements... sometimes they're lower than actual repair costs.
Went through something similar when hail trashed our family car. Definitely agree on documenting everything - saved me big time. Also, get multiple repair quotes yourself... insurance estimates can be way off sometimes. Learned that the hard way, lol.
Had a similar headache with my '68 Mustang after a storm here in Wyoming. Definitely second the advice on multiple quotes - insurance lowballed me big time at first. Glad documenting helped you out though, it's tedious but worth it in the end.
