Just wanted to share a small victory - managed to find affordable liability coverage for my 17-year-old. Took some digging and a lot of patience, but hey, it worked out. Anyone else had luck finding decent rates for their teens?

Affordable liability coverage is a win, but I’d be cautious about treating the lowest premium as the best deal for a 17-year-old. Check the bodily-injury and property-damage limits closely. A cheap policy with minimal limits could leave your household exposed after a serious crash. It may be worth comparing the cost of higher limits and checking whether an umbrella policy requires specific auto limits.
