senior driver here, any smart ways to lower my insurance?

Been driving forever, clean record (knock on wood), but lately my insurance premiums keep creeping up. I get it, age and all that jazz, but still... feels a bit unfair. Wondering if anyone's found some clever ways to cut down costs? Maybe certain companies or discounts I haven't heard of yet. Open to any suggestions really, just trying not to break the bank here.

Been there myself, and yeah, insurance hikes can feel like a slap in the face after years of careful driving. A few things I've stumbled across that might help:
- Defensive driving courses: sounds boring, but some insurers knock off a decent chunk if you complete one.
- Bundling policies (home/car): saved me more than I expected.
- Mileage-based discounts: if you're not commuting daily anymore, worth checking out.

Good points there, especially bundling - I was surprised how much it knocked off my premiums. Another thing worth checking is if your insurer offers discounts for vehicle safety features. Helped me a bit when I upgraded cars recently... every little bit counts these days.
