Had a bit of an adventure last night... driving home from visiting family up near Concord, my car decided it was the perfect time to just stop working. Middle of nowhere, pitch dark, and of course my phone battery was at like 12%. Classic me, right? Anyway, I ended up calling a friend who thankfully picked up and bailed me out, but it got me thinking—I really need to get some kind of roadside assistance coverage or something. I've heard mixed things about AAA lately, and I'm not sure if there are better local options around here or maybe through insurance companies.

Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience around NH and what service you ended up using. Was it worth it or did you regret signing up? I'm all ears because I definitely don't wanna repeat last night's little fiasco anytime soon...

Like, say it's clearly your fault and there's some serious damage or injuries involved. Do you just pay outta pocket or are there other consequences you gotta worry about?
So, I've been dealing with this insurance company lately that's supposed to specialize in drivers who, um, let's just say have a less-than-perfect driving record. I had a couple speeding tickets and one minor fender bender last year (totally my fault, I admit it), and suddenly my old insurer decided I was too much trouble. Anyway, switched to this new place that promised decent rates even for people like me who aren't exactly angels behind the wheel.

At first, seemed okay. The signup was easy enough and the rates weren't as crazy as I expected. But now that I've had them for a few months, I'm noticing their customer service is kinda... meh. Takes forever to get someone on the phone, and when I finally do, they act like I'm bothering them or something. Plus, the app is glitchy as heck.

I dunno, maybe it's just me being picky or whatever. Has anyone else here dealt with these specialty insurers in NH? Curious if your experience matches mine or if I'm just unlucky.
