I switched my car insurance recently after stumbling across this random local Montana provider online. Price was way lower than my old one, but now I'm kinda second guessing myself, you know? Anyone else tried smaller companies like this and had good luck?

Totally get that feelingβ€”been there myself. A few quick thoughts:

- Smaller local insurers can be legit and often have lower overhead, hence cheaper rates.
- Check their AM Best rating or BBB reviews if you haven't yet; gives a decent snapshot of their reliability.
- Had a friend switch to a small provider here in Montana last year; saved money and had no issues when filing a claim.

Bottom line, cheaper doesn't always mean sketchy...just do your homework.
