The address thing is wild—one time I had my street spelled out on one form and abbreviated on another, and they acted like I was trying to pull a fast one. I swear, the RMV has a sixth sense for paperwork inconsistencies. I keep a folder in my glovebox that’s thicker than my owner’s manual... just in case.

Yeah, the address thing is a real headache. I’ve had them question me over “St.” vs “Street” before—like, c’mon, it’s the same place. I actually keep a checklist on my phone now for every form I fill out, just to make sure I’m not missing some tiny detail. It’s wild how picky they get, but honestly, it’s saved me a couple trips back and forth. Not fun, but at least it keeps the process moving... eventually.

That’s wild, but honestly, I’ve run into the same thing. I remember standing at the counter, thinking, “Is this really happening?” They wouldn’t process my paperwork because my insurance card said “Ave” but my license had “Avenue.” I mean, who actually writes out the whole word every time?

Do you ever wonder if they’re just looking for a reason to send people away? Or maybe it’s just the system being super strict. I started double-checking everything too, but it’s so easy to miss something tiny when you’re filling out a dozen forms at once.

Has anyone ever had them question your handwriting? One time they said my “7” looked like a “1” and made me redo the whole form. At that point, I was just laughing because what else can you do?
