So yesterday afternoon I'm driving back from Wichita, and my car decides it's the perfect time to just...stop. Like, engine sputters out, and I'm coasting onto the shoulder trying not to panic. Luckily, a state trooper pulled up behind me pretty quick and helped me call a tow truck. While waiting, he mentioned this recent news story about how some roadside assistance services in Kansas have been overwhelmed lately due to staffing shortages and increased demand. Apparently, people are waiting way longer than usual for help.

Honestly, I never really thought much about roadside assistance before - figured I'd just call AAA or something if I ever needed it. But now I'm wondering if that's enough or if there are better local options around here. Anyone else seen this news or had similar experiences lately? Curious what everyone's thoughts are on reliable services around Kansas these days...
