How does GEICO rate a newly licensed teen across the household’s cars?

When a teen gets licensed, does GEICO’s quote change depending on which household car they’re assigned to, or whether they’re listed as an occasional driver with access to several cars? I’m curious how the license date and the teen’s actual access to each vehicle factor into the quote, rather than assuming one setup is always cheaper or even available.

For a fair comparison, would you ask GEICO to quote both arrangements using the same drivers, vehicles, and coverage, then confirm how the policy should reflect who can drive what? I’d rather get the details right than treat the lowest quote as a reason to describe the household’s driving differently.

The license date may matter separately from the teen’s age: a rating system can distinguish a newly licensed driver from someone of the same age who’s been driving longer. I wouldn’t assume how GEICO applies that distinction, though. Ask what driving-experience information it uses and how it affects each quote.
