What tire pressure should an EV carry for a fully loaded road trip?

For a long trip with luggage and passengers, should tire pressure still be set to the cold-pressure figure on the vehicle’s placard, or does the manufacturer specify a different setting for a heavier load? I don’t want to mistake the maximum pressure printed on the tire sidewall for the car’s recommended pressure, and I’m not sure how much the extra weight affects the guidance.

I’m also curious what kind of wear or repeated pressure loss is a good reason to have a tire professional check things before leaving. Would uneven wear point toward an alignment or tire issue, or is it better to start with the vehicle manual’s recommendations? I’d rather catch a problem early than lose range or end up dealing with a tire issue on the road.
