Yeah, I get that now too. If you’re trying to keep your premium down, here’s what worked for me: first, actually read through the requirements—sometimes you can skip stuff if your car’s not a daily driver. Second, take clear photos (I just used my phone) and stash them in a folder, so you’re not scrambling every renewal. Third, if you can swing it, parking in a locked garage really does help. I used to think it was overkill, but after my neighbor’s classic got keyed on the street, I’m glad I made the switch. The paperwork’s annoying, but it beats paying out for repairs.
